The University of Limpopo (UL) is a well-established public university in South Africa’s Limpopo Province, known for combining academic excellence, community engagement and innovative research to help solve local and continental challenges. It was formed through the merger of the University of the North and the Medical University of Southern Africa in 2005 and is located mainly in Mankweng, near Polokwane, with a strong tradition of inclusivity and growth.

Normal Registration Window
Starts: Thursday, 22 January 2026
Ends: Friday, 30 January 2026
UL will open registration for all newly admitted first-time entering students during this period. This is your official window to secure your spot by submitting your required documents and completing the registration process
Late Registration Window
Starts: Monday, 02 February 2026
Ends: Friday, 06 February 2026
If for any reason you miss the initial dates, you still have this extended opportunity to register. Just note that late registration closes firmly on 6 February 2026
