About TUT
Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) was founded in 2004 by three former Technikons with the intention of promoting diversity and expanding access to higher education. TUT has expanded greatly since its founding and is now acknowledged as South Africa's largest contact university.
Education, the humanities, commerce and administration, engineering and the built environment, science, and the arts are among the university's faculties. To educate students for a variety of professional disciplines, these faculties provide a wide range of academic programs.
The Times Higher Education (THE) rankings position TUT's engineering programs in the top 300 worldwide. The university is ranked seventh among South African universities and among the top 1,000 universities worldwide.

How to Apply at TUT
Application Fee
An R240 non-refundable application fee is required when submitting your application. The fee is used to cover application processing costs and will not be refunded if the application is unsuccessful.
Documents Required
Prepare the required documentation in advance. This often includes certified copies of your ID or passport, your academic records, and any other paperwork needed for program admission. If these documents are produced beforehand, the application procedure will proceed more smoothly.
