2026 TUT Courses without Maths as a Requirement That Still Have Space

About TUT

Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) was formed in 2004 when three former Technikons merged to create a more inclusive and connected institution that supports equal access to higher education. Since then, TUT has grown rapidly and is now the largest contact university in South Africa. The university has seven faculties—Education, Humanities, Commerce and Administration, Engineering and Technology, Science, and the Arts—which offer a wide range of academic programmes. According to the Times Higher Education (THE) rankings, TUT’s engineering programmes are ranked among the top 300 globally, and the university is placed within the top 1,000 universities worldwide, ranking seventh in South Africa.
