About DUT
The Durban institution of Technology (DUT), which has more than 33,000 students, is the top institution in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN). It is situated in Pietermaritzburg and Durban (PMB), two stunning cities. The quality of teaching and learning is highly valued at this university of technology, which is why all of its faculty members are required to hold the most advanced degrees.
The ML Sultan and Technikon Natal technikons merged to form the Durban University of Technology in April 2002. Like the other technical universities, it was once known as the Durban Institute of Technology before becoming the Durban University of Technology.
